East Chambers Buccaneers Tame the Liberty Panthers 42-23

  The EC Bucs are on a roll with back to back wins. The Buccaneers hosted the Liberty Panthers on Friday, September 13th and what an exciting game. The Bucs tamed the Panthers with a 42-23 victory.

  The Buccaneers were led by QB #3 KJ Fontenot with 5 of 6 passes for a total of 64 yards, 9 carries for a total of 90 yards, and 2 touchdowns.

  East Chambers rushed for a total of 407 yards. Rushing for the Bucs #4 E Ceasar with 6 carries for 49 yards; #0 Jarrell Smith with 4 carries for 37 yards; #8 Ethan Cart with 1 carry for 45 yards and 1 TD; #11 Koby Jones with 16 carries for 126 yards and 1 TD; and #9 Tatum Brasseaux with 4 carries for 60 yards and 1 TD.

  Receiving for the Bucs: #0 Jarrell Smith with 3 receptions for 31 yards and 1 TD; #2 Colby West with 1 reception for 15 yards; and #15 Ricardo Lopez with 1 reception for 18 yards.

  The Buccaneers were led defensively by: #7 Reid Todd with 8 solo tackles, and 1 assist; #8 Ethan Cart with 7 solo tackles, 6 assists, and 1 TFL; #12 Bryce Guillory with 4 solo tackles, 2 assists, 1 TFL, and 1 fumble recovery; #10 Darius Edmondson with 2 solo tackles, 1 assist, and 1 TFL; #11 Koby Jones with 2 solo tackles and 5 assists; #9 Tatum Brasseaux with 1 solo tackle, 3 assists, and 1 TFL; and#15 Ricardo Lopez with 5 solo tackles and 2 assists.

  Kicking for the Bucs #6 Adan Garcia with 6 kickoffs and 6-6 field goals. The Buccaneers will have a Bye on Friday, September 20th and will begin District play on Friday, September 27th as they host the Buna Cougars at Homecoming with kickoff at 7:30pm.
