“Coffee with a Cop” Gathers at The Thrift Barn

  Carolyn Fernandez, President and Ceo of Catholic Charities of Southeast Texas and Gerard Parigi, Director of the Thrift Barn, welcomed the community for “Coffee with a Cop” last Wednesday, October 1st at Catholic Charities new facility in Winnie. Fernandez and Parigi thanked everyone for their support of the mission of Catholic Charities. “We are overwhelmed by the support of this community for the services offered by Catholic Charities,” said Fernandez. “The Thrift Barn is a huge success, and we are feeding the hungry with our food bank.” Parigi added, “Our Thrift Barn has been overwhelmed with quality donations. Thank you to everyone for participating as either donating or buying the items.”

  Community Relations Deputy “Turbo” Turrubiate, Deputy Thibodeaux, Deputy Smith, Detective Lance Bauer, Captain Bryan Baker, Deputy Fire Marshal Joe Conger, and ESD#! Administrator Michelle Hardy. Justice of Peace Pct 1, Judge Celia Devillier was also in attendance.
