Chambers Health announces William D. Kiefer as new CEO

William D. Kiefer has been named CEO of Chambers Health, with an anticipated start date of Monday, November 16, 2020.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in both Microbiology and Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, receiving his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Texas Tech University.  He has also received recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Nurse Executive – Advanced for his dedication and knowledge of nursing and hospital leadership and most recently has joined the American College of  Healthcare Executives.

Kiefer possesses several years of experience in healthcare management working in various rural communities where he has strived to increase and improve the delivery of healthcare services.  He has served as Chief Clinical Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer, achieving meaningful results in quality and financial outcomes.

Professional memberships and awards include: Vice President of the Texas Medical Foundation Executive Board, Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, National Rural Health Association (NRHA) Healthcare Fellow, Texas Organization for Rural and Community Hospitals (TORCH) Healthcare Fellow, Nurse Executive Advanced Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

He has enjoyed serving actively in both church and civic organizations some of which include the Muscular Dystrophy Association and local Chambers of Commerce.

William has been married to Jasmine for 19 years and Jasmine focuses her time on raising their three children.  She serves actively in their church and enjoys volunteering in her children’s schools.  She is an extremely talented cook and enjoys spending time with family.  Their eldest are twins, Madison and Ethan who are sixteen years old and are currently working to graduate from high school.  Ethan enjoys spending time with friends, gaming and learning to code.  Madison enjoys working out, cooking, and working on drawing/painting.  Their youngest is Sofia who is thirteen and is definitely a people-person.  She enjoys cooking, hanging out with friends and sports.  The Kiefers are excited to be moving to Anahuac and joining the Chambers Health team.
