Chambers County 2022 Primary Candidates

  Monday, December 13, 2021, at 5pm is the filing deadline for anyone who wants to run for an office in Chambers County. Since we go to print before the deadline, this is the list of candidates as of 2pm. These candidates will be on the ballot for the GOP primary election ballot. There are no candidates filed to run in the Democrat primary. Early voting will begin on February 14, 2022.  And, the primary election date is March 1 2022. To date, three races are contested. They are County Judge-incumbent Jimmy Sylvia who is being challenged by Rachal Hisler. Commissioner Pct. 4 is an open seat with former Pct. 4 commissioner Bill Wallace and Beach City Mayor Ryan Dagley running to replace retiring Billy Combs. Cindy David is challenging incumbent Judge David Hatfieldfor JP, Pct.5. All other races’ candidates are running unopposed.
