Campaign for National Travel and Tourism Week

BEAUMONT, TX – The Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is excited to announce the launch of its “Bucket List Challenge” campaign, coinciding with National Travel and Tourism Week, May 4-11, 2025. This initiative celebrates the significant impact of travel and tourism on the Beaumont area and encourages residents and visitors alike to explore the city’s diverse offerings.
The travel and tourism industry in Beaumont is a vital economic driver, generating $391.9 million in visitor spending, supporting nearly 3,100 jobs, and contributing $33.5 million in tax revenue. The “Bucket List Challenge” aims to further boost these figures by showcasing the unique experiences Beaumont has to offer.
“We are thrilled to launch this campaign during National Travel and Tourism Week,” said Freddie Willard, Executive Director of the Beaumont CVB. “Tourism is a cornerstone of our local economy, and the ‘Bucket List Challenge’ is a fun and engaging way to highlight the incredible destinations and experiences that make Beaumont so special.”
The “Bucket List Challenge” is a digital app, accessible through the Beaumont CVB website, that allows users to check in at various Beaumont attractions, restaurants, and cultural hotspots. Participants can earn points, unlock rewards, and share their experiences on social media using the hashtag #BeaumontBucketList.
Sadie Atha, Marketing Director of the Beaumont CVB, added, “This campaign is designed to ignite a sense of adventure and pride in Beaumont. We invite everyone to participate and discover – or rediscover – the amazing things our city has to offer.”
Throughout National Travel and Tourism Week, the Beaumont CVB will celebrate on its social media channels, highlighting a different aspect of Beaumont tourism each day. Participants will also have a chance to win prizes throughout the week by engaging with the CVB’s social media posts. The campaign will continue throughout the summer, encouraging ongoing exploration and engagement. The app and more information can be found on the CVB’s website at VisitBeaumontTX.com.
