GULF COAST COMFORT FOOD FAVORITE FEATURING HUGE FAMILY-FRIENDLY PATIO TO OPEN IN EARLY APRIL 2026

HOUSTON, January 26, 2026 – BB’s Tex-Orleans, the award-winning Houston-based restaurant group, will unveil a new location in Beaumont, Texas, this spring. Slated to open in early April 2026, BB’s Tex-Orleans Beaumont will offer the same Texas spin on Cajun classics and Gulf Coast comfort food that has made BB’s a beloved destination for more than 18 years.

Located at 2325 Calder Avenue, BB’s Tex-Orleans Beaumont marks the brand’s first expansion into Texas’ Golden Triangle. The Beaumont outpost will bring the total number of BB’s Tex-Orleans locations to 12, 11 of which serve the Houston region. BB’s Cajun Cantina, BB’s pioneering fusion of Cajun and Tex-Mex cuisines, is winning over crowds in San Antonio.

BB’s Tex-Orleans Beaumont will occupy a roomy 3,200 square-foot interior plus a gargantuan patio encompassing approximately 5,000 square feet. Then, there’s crawfish season: Nobody has mastered the art of boiling live mudbugs like BB’s Tex-Orleans, and crawfish boils are best enjoyed outside with a crowd.

On the menu, guests will enjoy the hearty home-style cooking Houstonians have loved for almost two decades. Fixtures include the best po’boys in Texas, featuring Leidenheimer Baking Company bread and spanning classics such as the Bedtime in the Bayou Po’boy stuffed with crisp, fried Gulf shrimp and dressed, to mouthwatering originals like the South Texas Fire Po’boy, full of marinated outside skirt steak topped with melted pepper jack cheese, avocado, sautéed peppers, and onions, all topped with a spicy pepper cheese sauce.

BB’s build-your-own boils will beckon, offering choices of fresh daily seafood including shrimp and crab legs; savory fixin’s ranging from Prasek’s Smoked Garlic Sausage and alligator andouille sausage, to corn, button mushrooms, red potatoes, and BB’s signature Monsta Greens; all topped off with BB’s signature spices and dipping sauces.

Staples including Maw Maw’s Chicken and Sausage Gumbo, tender chicken wings, and fried Gulf Coast catches keep guests coming back. The Beaumont outpost will also offer a full bar featuring refreshing margaritas and an extensive menu comprising a dozen frozen cocktails, plus so much more

“At BB’s, we like to say that our culture is making Maw Maw, my grandmother, proud,” says Brooks Bassler, founder and CEO of BB’s. “So many of our recipes are inspired by Maw Maw’s cooking, but even more than the great food, it’s a way of living: family, hard work, fairness. Maw Maw was born in Winnie, and her sister still lives there, so BB’s roots actually start in the Golden Triangle. Finally opening a location in Beaumont feels like coming home.”
