Army Officer Veteran and Conservative Republican Danny Campbell Announces Reelection Campaign for Mont Belvieu City Council

Mont Belvieu, TX – Today, conservative Republican, Mont Belvieu City Councilman, and United States Army veteran Danny Campbell announced his candidacy for reelection to the Mont Belvieu City Council.

On his Republican bonafides, Campbell stated, “I am pro-life, pro-gun, and pro-individual liberty. I’m a fiscally responsible, limited government, low tax, conservative Republican to my core. And this city needs a representative to stand for these conservative values.”

Campbell is a military veteran, having served the United States Army as an Infantry Officer from 2007-2012. He deployed to Iraq in 2010-2011, and was awarded the Bronze Star for his bravery. “I know what service and dedication look like,” said Campbell, a life-long patriot “I fought for my country for five years and served my local community in an elected position for three. I am ready to continue to serve my local community.”

Campbell is in Land Acquisition and Development for the nation’s third largest builder and residential developer. He has a well-rounded career over the last decade within residential real estate development.  Campbell serves on the company’s Houston division Culture Committee and Built to Honor Committee for his company. He is a City Councilman on Mont Belvieu City Council, and has been instrumental in continuing the progress in west Chambers County. Campbell has a love of health and wellness, and spends his weekday mornings running a free outdoor fitness class he organized in an effort to build a sense of community and fitness in the area.

Danny lives in Mont Belvieu with his wife, Megan, an educator from Mont Belvieu, and their two young boys.  They are members of Second Baytown Baptist Church. He frequently volunteers for local sports organizations, is currently serving as a member of the Barbers Hill Youth Soccer Club Board of Directors, little league baseball coach, and little league basketball coach.  He has twice served on the Barbers Hill Parent Advisory Committee as co-chair as well.

He looks forward to continuing to serve the people of Mont Belvieu.
