Area Seniors Gather for Lunch, Bingo, and Music

It was a great turn out for the monthly Winnie-Stowell Senior Citizen Get Together Luncheon held on Thursday, March 19th, 2026. The luncheon was hosted by Chambers County JP Pct. 1, Celia Devillier and was held at the Winnie-Stowell Community Building were over 50 people attended. WACC Ambassadors helped JP Celia Devillier serve gumbo and deserts. Bill Keating entertained with singing and music, and games of Bingo were played.
These Senior citizens look forward to the monthly get togethers for the good food, fellowship, and dominos/ bingo games.
The next Senior Citizen Get Together will be held on Thursday, April 9th from 11:00am – 2:00pm at the Winnie Community Building, 335 S Park St, Winnie. Lunch and drinks are provided. EMS will provide blood pressure checks. For rides and questions, call Commissioner Gore’s office at 409-267-2644.
