Thursday, October 16th just wasn’t the day for Anahuac’s offense. They had to suffer through a 38-0 loss at the hands of the Hardin Hornets. Having soared to a lofty 32 points in the game before, the Panthers’ shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Anahuac’s loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Hardin, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Coincidentally, Anahuac and Hardin will both be playing Coldspring-Oakhurst the next time they take the field. The Hornets will host the Trojans at 7:00 pm on Friday, October 31st, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 7:00 pm on November 6th.
