It was a proper cat-fight when Anahuac duked it out with Buna on Friday. The Panthers came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 25-12.

Brayli Van Vickle paced Anahuac’s offense, picking up five kills. Van Vickle got some help from Sky Hedges and her seven assists.

Anahuac’s defeat dropped their record down to 9-31. As for Buna, the victory got them back to even at 19-19.
