In a major victory for the American people, President Trump officially signed the One Big Beautiful Bill into law on the South Lawn of the White House. I was proud to stand alongside him—joined by families and patriotic Americans—united in our mission to take our country back.
This landmark legislation is a cornerstone of restoring fiscal sanity and putting America First once again.
Here’s what the One Big Beautiful Bill delivers:
Ends taxpayer funding of the Big Abortion Industry Prevents the largest tax hike in American history Shields small businesses from crippling mandates Delivers historic relief for working families Enshrines no tax on tips, overtime, and relief for Social Security recipients Codifies key parts of President Trump’s America First Agenda
But this isn’t just a bill, it’s a turning point. A step toward a government that works for the people, not against them.
From Main Street to the South Lawn, East Texan voices are being heard, and we’re just getting started.
Celebrating America
While it is always a joy to gather with family, fire up the grill, and celebrate America’s 249th birthday, Independence Day is about far more than fireworks and festivities. It is a time to remember the price that has been paid for our freedom.
This year, I had the honor of spending part of the holiday on the Speaker’s Balcony with a group of wounded warriors—true American heroes who have sacrificed life and limb so the rest of us can enjoy the blessings of liberty.
Standing with them, overlooking the Capitol dome and our flag waving in the summer sky, was a powerful reminder that we are the Land of the Free because of the Brave.
As we look ahead to next year’s 250th anniversary of American independence, let us never forget that our nation’s strength does not come from Washington. It comes from the courage, grit, and sacrifice of those who defend the United States.
Pray for Fellow Texans
Please join us in praying for those still missing after the devastating floods in Texas. Our hearts break for the families grieving the loss of loved ones, and we continue to hope for miracles in the face of such tragedy.
God bless our first responders, true heroes who run toward the unthinkable. They carry the weight of heartbreak so others don’t have to. May the Lord bless and keep each of them in His protection as they work tirelessly to rescue, recover, and bring comfort to their fellow Texans.
