East Chambers Cross Country Teams Sweep all Six Divisions of the District Meet in Anahuac

  On Wednesday, October 8th, the East Chambers Cross Country teams competed in the District meet in Anahuac and swept all six divisions.

  This included boys and girls varsity, boys and girls JV, and boys and girls junior high.

  These are the following results. Varsity boys: Agustin Granados 2nd; Jose Rufino 6th; Cristian Moreno 8th; Xavi Martinez 11th; Drew Frederick 16th

Varsity Girls: Karen Hernandez 2nd; Kalyssa Fontenot 4th; Giselle Santana 5th; Parker Williams 6th; Mikeala Quave 10th

JV Boys: Bruno Bove 1st; Max Vratis 2nd; Mario Herrera 4th; Xabi Moreno 5th; Omar Huizar 6th; Juan Orduna 8th; Ben Carter 9th

JV Girls: Kenley Jordan 1st; Marili Valazquez 2nd; Jadynn Smith 3rd; Isabella Cuellar 6th; Romina Davila 8th; Sherlyn Vargas 9th

  Coach Ashley Sherman lead the Junior High to District Championships in both boys and girls.

  We’re obviously so proud of these athletes. In the way they have competed and shown up every morning to get better. Now onto regionals on Monday, October 22nd.
