By Hunter Harrison, Youth Pastor, Cornerstone Church, Winnie
Cornertsone Church of Winnie hosted Summer Jam ‘25 on Wednesday, May 28th. There were 90 students from the area in attendance. Youth Pastor, Hunter Harrison, of Cornerstone brought the message while praise and worship was led by Ben Rosario of Central Florida. Students were also thrilled to meet and listen to Christian rap artists LIL KV and Earl Onyx from San Antonio, perform.
For many students in our area, the chance to attend a full summer camp just isn’t possible. Some may never get that life-changing experience. That’s why this night was so powerful, it brought the heart of camp to them. In just one evening, students were part of something unforgettable: high energy games, dynamic worship, a powerful message, and for many, their very first live concert experience. Christian rap artist LIL KV and Earl Onyx took the stage and brought the house down, combining faith and music in a way that spoke directly to the hearts of this generation. It wasn’t just about fun, it was about connection, hope, and giving students a night where they felt seen, valued, and reminded that God has a purpose for their lives.
This year was huge, but we’re already dreaming bigger. Winnie, Anahuac – get ready, this is just the beginning! We are looking forward to Summer Jam ’26!
