  My favorite verse: “For we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28) It is very God focused. God alone works all things together. It is God’s good which is the best and purest. It is only for those who have decided to love God beyond all other things so that they become Christians who are also described as those who are called according to God’s purpose. You may ask “What is God’s purpose?” The answer would be Jesus. While Jesus was on earth God the Father said “This is my beloved son with whom I am well pleased.” At the transfiguration He added “Listen to Him!” Let us not spurn the reason we exist for scraps and passing things. We can’t lose with God.
