East Chambers Lady Bucs Basketball Overall 15-10, District 3-4

The East Chambers Lady Bucs hosted the Hardin Lady Hornets on Tuesday, January 7th and defeated the Lady Hornets 44-31 in district 22-3A action.

The Lady Bucs were led by #21 Mikeala Quave with 18 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 6 steals; #12 Ja’Mya Anderson with 12 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals; #22 Steeley Franklin with 5 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal; #1 Hailey Hjelle with 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist; #33 Gracie McDaniel with 3 points, and 7 rebounds; and #4 Zoe Selby with 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals.

The Lady Bucs traveled to Kountze on Friday, January 10th to take on #1 in District, the Kountze Lady Lions and fell short 73-34.

The Lady Bucs were led by #21 Mikeala Quave with 11 points, and 5 rebounds; #3 Jimena Vargas with 5 points, and 1 rebound; #22 Steeley Franklin with 5 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, and 1 steal; #12 Ja’Mya Anderson with 4 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal; #25 Jadynn Smith with 3 points, and 1 rebound; #4 Zoe Selby with 2 points, and 7 rebounds; #11 Mallory Frederick with 2 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assits, and 3 steals; and #33 Gracie McDaniel with 2 points, and 1 rebound.

The Lady Bucs are now 15-10 on the year and 3-4 in district.

The East Chambers Lady Bucs hosted the Buna Lady Cougars on Tuesday, January 14th. They will take the short trip to Anahuac on Friday, January 17th where they will take on the Anahuac Lady Panthers.
