Rhonda and Steve Devillier opened their home’s beautiful grounds last Friday for the annual Winnie Stowell Lions Club First Responder lunch. Bill Keating, President of the WS Lions Club, welcomed all the attendees and thanked them for their service to our community. Agencies represented were the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office, Chambers County EMS, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Parks and Recreation, Winnie Stowell EMS, City of Mont Belvieu EMS, and members of area volunteer fire departments. Over 60 responders attended and over 30 to go meals were prepared for those responders who could not attend.

Matthew Verbit represented Oxy Zero In who sponsored the chicken and sausage lunch which was catered by Cattleman’s Kitchen. Thanks to Oxy Zero In!

The Winnie Stowell Lions Club meets every first and third Tuesday of the month at noon at Tony’s BBQ in Stowell. If you would like to become a member, contact Bill Keating at 409-239-3550.
