EC Buccaneers Fall Short to the Orangefield Bobcats 20-41

The East Chambers Bucs traveled to Orangefield on Friday, November 1st to take on the Orangefield Bobcats and fell short 20-41. It was an intense game, but the Bucs offense couldn’t move past the Bobcat defensive line.

Offensive Stats and Highlights: The Buccaneers were led by QB #3 KJ Fontenot with 7 of 12 passes for a total of 118 yards, 11 carries for a total of 62 yards, 1 TD, and 1 interception. #11 Koby Jones was 1 of 1 passing on fourth down for 29 yards to move the Bucs to 1st and goal.

East Chambers rushed for a total of 168 yards. Rushing for the Bucs #0 Jarrell Smith with 6 carries for 46 yards, and 1 TD; #4 Earius Ceasar with 4 carries for 16 yards; #9 Tatum Brasseaux with 1 carry for 1 yard; #10 Darius Edmondson with 1 carry for 24 yards; and #11 Koby Jones with 6 carries for 19 yards, and 1 TD.

Receiving for the Bucs: #0 Jarrell Smith with 4 receptions for 70 yards; #2 Colby West with 2 receptions for 44 yards; #8 Ethan Cart with 1 reception for 29 yards; and #13 Ethan West with 1 reception for 4 yards.

Defensive Stats and Highlights: The Buccaneers were led defensively by: #14 Corbyn Moore with 8 solo tackles, 1 assist, and 1 PD; #15 Ricardo Lopez with 6 solo tackles, and 2 assists; #8 Ethan Cart with 5 solo tackles, 2 assists, and 1 tackle for loss; #24 Luke Hampton with 2 solo tackles, and 4 assists; #82 Christian Carter with 4 solo tackles, and 2 assists; #40 Dax Henley with 2 solo tackles, and 3 assists; #11 Koby Jones with 4 solo tackles, and 1 assist; #12 Bryce Guillory with 4 solo tackles; and #52 Aiden Baker with 3 solo tackles and 1 assist.

Kicking for the Bucs #6 Adan Garcia with 2-3 field goals, 4 kickoffs, and 1 punt for 36 yards.
