I truly made it this far by the grace of the Lord and the great precepts and examples my loving and caring parents, the Rev. Virgil and Gloria White showed me. I Will Forever Be Honoring Them!!!
Heather Hawthorne, Chambers County Clerk did me the honor and swore me in as Chambers County Democratic Party Chairwoman.
This was an Historic Day, August 8, 2026!!! In scripture, the #8 is referenced as New Beginnings. So, I look at this day as Two New Beginnings. August is the 8th month and on the 8th day:
1. Our Chambers County Democratic Team, CCDemTeam was resurrected and sworn in. The wall which was once damaged is now being rebuilt!!! Neh. 4:6 New Beginnings!
2. Your Chambers County Democratic Party Chairwoman, Paula West, is the first African American Chambers County County Chair!!! AND we have two Precinct Chairs and a Secretary who are also African Americans AND a Precinct Chair who is Hispanic!!! How Absolutely Amazing is that! New Beginnings!!!
There will be more new beginnings and history making opportunities going on as we Get Up-Get Busy and Get Out To Vote-GOTV to secure the Win in November; so that we will have a better future for Every resident!!!
