Lady Bucs Gain Valuable Experience at East Chambers Softball Camp

The East Chambers High School Lady Bucs took advantage of an outstanding opportunity to sharpen their skills during a recent softball camp hosted by the East Chambers softball program.

The camp was generously sponsored by Frankie Abalos and featured instruction from Will Mallette, head softball coach at Nederland High School. Coach Mallette led campers through a variety of drills focused on hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, and game situations, while emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and a strong work ethic.

Players were challenged to improve their fundamentals and compete in a positive learning environment, gaining valuable knowledge they can carry into the upcoming season. Coach Mallette’s experience and enthusiasm made the camp both educational and enjoyable for everyone in attendance.

The East Chambers softball program extends its appreciation to Frankie Abalos for sponsoring the camp and to Coach Mallette for sharing his expertise with the Lady Bucs. The event was a great success and reflects the program’s commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
