  The rich young ruler asked The Lord Jesus the same question many desire to know today! “What good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?” Having eternal life should be our top priority. How to receive it, should be next! As the young ruler found out, it isn’t something that can be gained by merit or by being good. Eternal Life is a gift from GOD HIMSELF! The Bible teaches us that GOD loved us so that HE gave us His only-begotten Son (Jesus) to die for our sins. Therefore, by placing our faith and trust in His sacrificial death on the cross, we may receive the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ! So don’t let your earthly possessions, pride, or misguided priorities prevent you from accepting GOD’S free gracious gift of eternal life. Receive ye the right answer and that answer is Jesus Christ!
