The East Chambers Lady Bucs proved they can win big on Friday, February 6th (they won by 27) and on Tuesday, February 10th, they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Kountze Lady Lions 61-59 in Kountze. For those keeping track at home, that’s the closest victory the Lady Bucs have posted since November 21, 2025.
The EC Lady Bucs are on a roll lately: they’ve won four of their last five contests. That’s provided a nice bump to their 23-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points over those games.
It’s hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the East Chambers Lady Bucs can now relate to. They received a blow on Monday, February 16th in Warren as they fell 56-39 to the Pollok Central Lady Bulldogs. The Lady Bucs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lady Bulldogs apparently hadn’t forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.
The East Chambers’ loss dropped their record down to 24-12. As for Pollok Central, they have been performing well recently as they’ve won three of their last four games. That’s provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
This brings the Lady Bucs season to an end. Congratulations ladies on a great season and we are looking forward to next year!
