The Bucs traveled to Huffman Tuesday night to take on the Falcons. Both teams played a strong defensive game and would go into halftime tied 0-0. The game would remain scoreless until the 71st minute when the Falcons would take a 1-0 lead. The Bucs had a chance to tie the game in the final minutes, but the shot narrowly missed over the upper left corner of the goal and East Chambers would come up short 1-0.

Stats against Huffman:

Defensively the Bucs were led by Ricardo Lopez (13 steals), Cesar Vargas,  Jose Rufino, Mario Herrera and Leonel Turrubiarte.

Goalkeeper Anthony Gomez had 5 saves and 6 blocks.

The Bucs hosted the Livingston Lions Friday night. The Bucs started out slow, unable to stop  the Lion offense. The Bucs would go into the half trailing 4-2. EC would start the second half strong, scoring 3 unanswered goals and defeating Livingston 5-4.

Defensively the Bucs were led by Mario Herrera (16 steals), Xabi Morales (14 steals), Ricardo Lopez (7 steals), Cesar Vargas (7 steals), Jose Rufino (6 steals),  Adan Garcia (6 steals) and Max Vargas (5steals).

Goalkeeper Anthony Gomez had 1 save and 1 block

District Record: 2-1-0

Bucs finish the first round of District play at Hamshire-Fannett on Tuesday, February 17th. The Bucs will be back in action on Friday, February 27th as they travel to Liberty to take on the Liberty Panthers with a 7:00pm game time. The Bucs will celebrate Senior Night on Tuesday, March 3rd when they host Huffman with a 7:00pm game time.
